Michel Faro do Prado, a Brazilian known as “Diabão” (Big Devil), is one of the most heavily modified individuals on the planet. A few years ago, he captured widespread attention when he began posting pictures online. Some people called him “the human Satan,” and when they realized the extent of his modifications, they could hardly believe their eyes.
Diabão’s body is nearly covered in tattoos, with an estimated 85% of his skin inked. His modifications go beyond tattoos—he has undergone horn implants, removed the outer parts of his ears, and even altered his teeth to enhance his devil-like appearance.
In 2020, Michel shared that he has an exceptionally high pain tolerance and isn’t afraid to endure intense procedures to achieve his ideal look. He admitted that the pain he experiences post-procedure is often worse than the actual process. According to the New York Post, he stated, “There are changes that, without anesthesia, would be almost impossible to endure.”
“If I have to feel pain to achieve what I want, for sure, I will face it!” he declared.
Embracing the “Human Satan” Identity
For most people, being compared to Satan might not be a compliment, but Michel embraces the nickname. “I believe that the true image of the ‘devil’ is beautiful,” he explained.
He even referenced biblical texts, saying, “The Bible says this in Genesis, and also in the book of Isaiah, which describes Jesus as lacking beauty, like a dry root in the desert.”

Most recently, Michel shocked his followers by confirming that he had amputated his pinky and ring fingers to give his hands a claw-like appearance.
He now holds the Guinness World Record for the most “horns” implanted in a human skull. According to the Mirror, he has undergone more than 60 body modification procedures, sparking widespread reactions.
Reflecting on his Guinness World Record achievement, he described the moment as “something very special and unreal.” He told G1, “A dream come true to make it into the Guinness World Records and also travel to Europe. At several moments, I was emotional, with tears in my eyes.”

Born in Santos, a coastal city in São Paulo, Michel spent his early adulthood traveling across Brazil as part of the hippie movement in the 1990s. “That’s when I got my first tattoo,” he recalled. “It was a tribal design on my right arm.”
After a few years of traveling, he settled in Praia Grande. Michel was previously married to another woman and had two children before eventually meeting Carol.
By the mid-2000s, he pursued tattooing professionally, though he admitted that making a living from it was challenging in the early days.
Eventually, he found success and recognition in his city. As he delved further into the world of body modifications, his love story with Carol deepened, and they embraced their unconventional lifestyle together.

Some express shock and disbelief. “I just don’t understand how someone can modify their body to this extent,” one user commented. “There’s no going back. If you try to fix this, you’ll still have scarring and disfigurement. You’ll never look like your old self again and will have to live with this for the rest of your life.”

“The point is to not look like how you looked before,” one supporter explained. “People who undergo this many modifications are trying to get as far away from their original appearance as possible, so they feel relief the more different they look.”
