A businessman stepped into an elevator and was greeted by a cheerful blonde who said, “T-G-I-F!” Smiling back, the man replied, “S-H-I-T.” Confused, the blonde repeated, “T-G-I-F,” this time a bit slower. He responded again, “S-H-I-T.”
Trying to keep the conversation friendly, she smiled even wider and said, “T-G-I-F!” The businessman responded once more with,
“S-H-I-T.” At this point, the blonde was determined to clear up the confusion, so she explained, “T-G-I-F means ‘Thank God, It’s Friday!’ Get it?”
The businessman grinned and replied, “Oh, I get it. But ‘S-H-I-T’ stands for ‘Sorry, Honey, It’s Thursday’—duhh.”
