Beijing: China has expressed deep sorrow and condolences over the recent aviation accident in Washington.
According to foreign media reports, a spokesperson for China’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs extended heartfelt sympathies to the affected families. The spokesperson urged U.S. authorities to accelerate rescue operations and manage all necessary matters appropriately.
Additionally, China has requested prompt updates on the progress of the investigation into the incident.
The accident occurred a day earlier when a military helicopter and a passenger plane collided in Washington, resulting in the deaths of all those on board. Among the victims were two Chinese nationals.
