After her son passed away, June believed the most difficult chapter of her life had already been written. Sixteen years earlier, her son Mark had been a hardworking construction worker who proudly bought a modest house for his young family. He spoke of future additions, a porch, and even a room for his mother one day.
But those plans ended abruptly when a workplace accident took his life, leaving behind his wife, Melissa, and their two-year-old daughter, Emma.
