Just before I walked down the aisle, my fiancé’s grandmother grabbed my hand and whispered, “If he says those four words… don’t believe him.”
Minutes later, I saw Ethan outside with a crying woman I’d never met.
“She deserves to know,” the woman told him.
When I confronted Ethan, he pulled me aside and finally said the four words:
“She is my sister.”
My blood ran cold.
