I thought our family vacation would finally give me a break after a year of raising triplets on almost no sleep. Instead, one decision my husband made at the airport changed everything.
At the gate, I checked our boarding passes.
Mine and our three one-year-olds’ seats were in economy.

Business class.
Then he casually revealed he’d also booked himself an oceanfront room while putting me and the babies in a standard room.
The worst part? He’d paid for the upgrades using MY savings.
When I confronted him, he said, “You’re their mother. They’re your responsibility.”
Something inside me snapped.
Once we were airborne, I opened the reservation and noticed Eric had been telling his family that I was overwhelmed because I “wouldn’t let him help.”
So I stopped protecting him.
I shared the entire reservation in our family group chat.
His mother immediately asked why I was alone with three babies in economy while Eric sat in business class.
Minutes later, Eric rushed through the curtain.
“Delete it,” he demanded. “You’re making me look horrible.”
I looked at him and said:
“You didn’t mind doing it. You just mind people knowing you did it.”
But when we landed, his parents were waiting.
And his mother had one question for him that made his face go pale…
