Once described as having the “scientifically perfect body,” Kelly Brook is embracing how her famous figure has changed at 46, celebrating the “curves, softness and strength” rather than chasing the woman she was a decade ago.
For decades, women have been presented with changing definitions of the “perfect” body, leaving the ideal proportions seemingly impossible to pin down – until one curvy British model provided the unexpected scientific answer.
Kelly Brook has spent more than 30 years in an industry where appearance can determine careers, having landed her first professional modeling work while still a teenager.
“When you look at those pictures from that time, I had the body of a porn star and the face of a child,” she told the Guardian about striking sexual poses at only 16. “That was probably the appeal and why I was successful. That’s the sad truth of it for me.”
